The FBA 8 is a special machine for processing veneer sheets with thicknesses between 0.4 mm and 5 mm. Grooved steel and rubber contact rollers can be assembled into configurations with up to four units. Special guidance of the veneers through a combination of pressure rollers and pressure lips enables absolutely accurate calibration and clean sanding of the veneer surface. The height positioning of each roller unit is carried out by servomotors. This adjustment can therefore be made fully automatically and independently for each roller with maximum precision.
